This evening we decided that we would have a meal from the garden. It consisted of very orange baby carrots, chunky spring onions, a handful of parsley, round courgettes and normal straight ones! The Mrs. chopped it, fried it with butter for 5 minutes, added stock and veggie dumplings – then boiled it for 30 minutes. I just sort of watched and made the right noises!
It was delicious…and healthy to boot. Those other carrots are looking ever so tempting in the ground!
