Endive curly

Endive is a bitter tasting green which we’ve been mixing with red lettuce and rocket. Surprisingly it’s a member of the sunflower family (asteraceae) although growing much better than they are!

I’m not sure we’ve eaten this much lettucy stuff in years! It’s taken a while to grow, but really doesn’t take up very much space.
