Great Site.
I hope you like cheltenham (I take it Leckhampton). We’ve just moved from there to Devon. We had our first veg patch in the back garden in Naunton Crescent and now have a quarter of an acre veg patch (currently being built). next step pigs…
Keep up the good work.

Cheers Nick, always nice to receive compliments, i sometimes wonder if many people look at the site, but it’s useful as a diary too. We are in Leckampton yes, been trying to get an allotment on Asquith Rd, but the waiting list is blummin’ huge. Good luck with the pigs, i’m very envious!
Hello, i love the website/blog. i’m fairly new to growing veg and now have great plans for the next year. sucessfully grown summer salad and veg before , but thanks to your site i’m now off to buy some purple sprouting broccoli, garlic , onions and possibly some sprouts and carrots too!!!! i have a fairly large garden in north yorks, but fairly little sunshine. i’ve just built a worm farm to provide fertiliser and compost.
thanks for the great tips and inspiration, jealous of the pigs too. i’d like chickens, but not practical here.
louisa
Hi Louisa, thanks for the comment, always nice to have a positive influence on someone…why doesn’t everyone grow veg? I don’t get it! We aren’t that experienced at growing veg either, but i love learning about it and sharing my experiences with others. At the end of the day, if something doesn’t work, it’s a lesson learnt. Worm farms are great, not got round to that yet, but will one day.
Right, i’m off to continue to be an inspiration. Spread the vegmonkey word!
